E Korral represents many things... I will list some of them, without actually revealing how they will work together:

Today we brought our first animal into E-Korral(tm). That animal, which happens to use to belong to me is Sunny Day Lucky Seven 22M, a roan Shorthorn bull that we sold half interest to Sweet Springs Shorthorns. Anyways. We are using his profile as the guinea pig while we run tests on the pages and get them formatted. This is shaping up to be a really nice project.

     Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Timothy Whitfield, Founder and Chief Software Engineer of Tim Whitfield Enterprises. I am going to introduce an idea for a website that I've had for some time.

     E-Korral has been a feature on SunnyDayShorthorns.com since its inception in 2002. On the Sunny Day website, E-Korral is the place where we feature our animals and includes things such as pedigrees, color, birthdate, etc. It didn't take long to figure out this was the most popular portion of the site and one of the main reasons we are one of the top Shorthorn sites on the web.

     Well, very recently, it hit me that we can take this concept of all the animals listed in one spot with a very clever name and apply it on a much larger scale. I started to realize the potential of such a site when my family was trying to breed some cattle out of the semen tank with bulls that my wife and I really didn't know much about. It became evident that a site that created a one stop place where people could come to find out the details of most major sires and most major females would be a nice tool for everybody to use in the livestock industry. Thus, the Myspace of Livestock was born.

     I am not going to divulge too much information, but I will say that this site will be a free site. E-Korral will make its money from advertisements and a few other forms of revenue. You will be able to create an animal profile and a ranch profile in minutes, link them together, and have a place on the net made just for your livestock.

     Use it as a marketing, breeding or research tool and see its potential, all without paying anything. That's our guiding philosophy.
